Glass of Ages: New book published detailing my practice and works, with essay by Prof. Simon Olding, Director of the Craft Study Centre.

‘By virtue of their careful placement, the works acquire the force of dialogue and conversation, of interlocking and referencing. As glass artist Stephen Proctor has put it, ‘the task is to orchestrate elements into a unified rhythm’. With Ed Byrne, this orchestration has a potent, grounded force, like a gathering of totemic forms assembled for a ritual. It is a poise also shown in British studio glass in the grouped, graded, vertical forms of Rachael Woodman.’
